Tseth Religion
The Tseth religion primarily follows the sun. In fact, Tseth means "sun" in their ancient language. The Tseth worship the sun for giving light and watching over them constantly. They also believe exposure to the sun imbues both knowledge and beauty.
The idea that the sun gives knowledge traces back to before the Tseth had access to other forms of light. The sun was the only light by which they could read their informative texts, and thus the sun allowed them to gain knowledge.
The sun is said to give beauty, as not only does it allow for one to be seen in good light, but the extreme heat from the sun in the Eastern Desert causes those exposed to it for long periods to sweat. The Tseth see sweat as a person glistening much like a precious gem.
Tseth art is primarily religious, and is known to focus on depicting the sun. The color Yellow is used heavily along with the color red. Yellow depicting the sun, with red depicting life and all things the sun touches.
Tseth religion also has heavy influence on the physical appearance of the Tseth people. It is common practice to surgically point a child's ears so that they always point to the sun, as well as bleaching one's hair by use of oils and sunlight, and also using yellow makeup around the eyes to bare resemblance to the sun and its rays.
